Uzbekistan's U-23 national team has completed the group stage of the 2026 Asian Games football tournament with three victories, advancing to the quarterfinals. Ravshan Haydarov's squad accumulated 9 points in Group C with a goal difference of 9:1.

In their opening group match, Uzbekistan U-23 defeated the Philippines 5:1. In the second round, they secured a 2:0 win over Kuwait.

In the third round match held on September 22, the team faced Vietnam U-23 and won 2:0. The goals were scored by Muhammadali Urinboev in the 5th minute and Nurlan Ibraimov in the 67th minute.

Thus, Uzbekistan won all three matches and took first place in Group C with 9 points. Vietnam finished second with 4 points, the Philippines had 3, and Kuwait collected 1 point.

In the quarterfinals of the Asian Games football tournament, the winner of Group C will face the runner-up of Group D — either South Korea or Saudi Arabia.
