Tashkent, AN Podrobno.uz. In Navoi, a private kindergarten teacher has been sentenced to 3 years and 3 months in prison for violence against children aged one to three. The court also banned her from working as a teacher in preschool institutions for two years.

According to case materials, the woman worked as a teacher from December 2025 to April 2026. During this time, she used force against at least five children. The abuse was captured on April 7 when a new teacher's assistant filmed the employee hitting, pushing, and kicking the toddlers. This video became key evidence.

After the recordings were published, parents reported changes in their children's behavior. Some children no longer wanted to go to kindergarten, cried, and showed fear. One child had to be taken to a neurologist due to constant crying. A psychological examination revealed that the children suffered a severe traumatic reaction, fear, and signs of physical abuse linked to the teacher's actions.

This incident has once again brought public attention to the safety of children in preschool institutions and the oversight of staff qualifications. Parents are demanding effective operation of surveillance cameras in kindergartens and stricter vetting of employees.
