In Uzbekistan, contract fees will be covered for children of employees who have worked for at least five years at enterprises with at least one thousand workers. This was announced by Shavkat Mirziyoyev at a meeting on September 24.

Additionally, 50 percent of the costs for training and retraining employees, as well as transportation costs for bringing them to and from work, will be compensated for such enterprises. This measure aims to improve employee skills and reduce their transportation expenses.

Separate grants will also be allocated for enterprises whose number of jobs is approaching 1,000. For this purpose, 20 million dollars will be directed to Andijan alone. These funds will be used to create new jobs and support existing ones.

Officials have been instructed to submit a draft decision within a month on supporting enterprises that create many jobs. This document is aimed at creating more favorable conditions for enterprises and stimulating their activities.

Earlier, it was announced that starting from the 2026/2027 academic year, children of educators studying full-time bachelor's programs at state universities will receive a 30 percent discount on contract fees. This decision is aimed at supporting workers in the education sector.
