The Hydrometeorological Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Uzhydromet) has identified an increase in dust and particulate matter as the primary cause of the sharp deterioration in air quality in Tashkent. Experts noted that this phenomenon is linked to climatic conditions and aridity.

Uzhydromet advises the public, especially individuals with respiratory conditions, to limit outdoor exposure.
