Amid recent events in the Middle East, there are no casualties among approximately 600 Uzbek citizens in Qatar, according to the embassy in Doha.

On February 28, due to the temporary closure of Qatar's airspace, 48 Uzbek citizens returning to Tashkent were stranded at Doha Airport.

"When airlines could not provide hotels to passengers due to the emergency, embassy staff urgently arrived at the airport. As a result of negotiations, our citizens, including those who sought help through social media, were accommodated in temporary hotels," the embassy stated.

Once Qatar's airspace opens and air traffic resumes, safe repatriation of citizens will be ensured. The situation is under constant monitoring by the embassy, with passenger lists regularly updated.

The diplomatic mission urges compatriots not to panic, trust only official sources, avoid crowded places for safety, and strictly adhere to local laws.
