President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian. The press service of the head of state reported this. During the conversation, the parties discussed the further development of cooperation in trade, economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

At the beginning of the conversation, Mirziyoyev congratulated Pezeshkian on his birthday and wished him health, family well-being, and success in his state activities. This congratulation highlights the warm and friendly relations between the leaders of the two countries.

Then the presidents discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on the regional agenda. They considered promising areas of interaction and mutually beneficial projects.

The parties also reviewed the schedule of upcoming events. It is expected that the planned meetings and events will contribute to further strengthening the multifaceted ties between Uzbekistan and Iran.
