️ Compliance control structures of the joint-stock company «Hududgaztaminot» have conducted extensive surprise inspections and operational raids aimed at suppressing the illegal distribution and embezzlement of liquefied gas across the country. According to official reports, more than 3,000 unannounced checks were carried out during 2025 and the first nine months of 2026, leading to the detection of a total of 1,217 violations.
️ During the inspection process, authorities allegedly uncovered 471 underground storage facilities («bunkers») specializing in the illegal sale of liquefied gas, effectively halting their operations. Officials claim that these enforcement measures prevented the unlawful realization of 193.6 tons of liquefied gas valued at approximately 2 billion soums, alongside 17,301 household gas cylinders with a total value of 8.7 billion soums.
️ Furthermore, internal service audits conducted over the first nine months of 2026 revealed the alleged misappropriation of 1,400 tons of liquefied gas and 10,626 household cylinders. To provide a proper legal assessment, materials concerning 25 specific cases were reportedly forwarded to law enforcement agencies, resulting in the initiation of 19 criminal investigations.
️ At present, compliance oversight bodies are continuing their unannounced inspections and raids to investigate the root causes of these violations and prevent future occurrences. Citizens have been urged to report any instances of illegal liquefied gas sales or other related abuses through the dedicated hotline numbers +998 71 202-11-04 or 1104.
