Uzbek track and field athlete Barnokhon Sayfullayeva has added another gold medal to Uzbekistan's tally at the Asian Games in Japan. Competing in the high jump event, she secured the championship with a result of 1.90 meters.

Sayfullayeva delivered a consistent and confident performance throughout the competition. She cleared heights of 1.75, 1.80, and 1.84 meters on her first attempts. She then successfully cleared 1.87 and 1.90 meters on her second attempts. Her rivals were unable to match her final result.

This victory marks Uzbekistan's 14th gold medal at the Asian Games. Sayfullayeva's achievement is a significant contribution to the national delegation's success.

It is worth noting that Uzbek athletes have traditionally performed strongly in track and field at the Asian Games. With this win, Barnokhon Sayfullayeva has further solidified her standing on the international stage.
