The annual autumn shutdown of hot water for 5 days in Tashkent causes inconvenience to residents, but this measure is necessary due to the worn-out heating networks and to prevent winter accidents. Veolia Energy Tashkent explained that the main reason for these works is the high wear and tear of the capital's heating networks and underground utilities, most of which were built decades ago. It is impossible to replace all infrastructure in one season, so the key task of specialists remains maintaining the system in working order and preventing accidents during the winter period.

During the 5-day shutdown, specialists conduct hydraulic tests of the mains with increased pressure to identify weak sections before the onset of frost. Full maintenance of boiler equipment is also carried out, including stopping, cleaning and replacing parts of boilers and pumps, and the heat supply system to upper floors is adjusted.

The company noted that 5 days is the minimum necessary period for draining water from kilometers of networks, carrying out repairs, subsequent filling of the system and reaching operating mode. Veolia Energy Tashkent emphasized that they are gradually modernizing the infrastructure, and current works help reduce the risk of utility accidents in winter, and expressed gratitude to residents for their understanding.

It is worth noting that the temporary shutdown of hot water creates inconvenience for citizens, but in the long term it is necessary to ensure stable heat supply. Company specialists are working to improve the reliability of the system and ensure uninterrupted service in the upcoming winter season.
