During the January–August period, the total volume of market services provided across Uzbekistan reached 908.6 trillion UZS. According to official figures released by the National Statistics Committee, this metric reflects a robust 17 percent increase in real terms compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
Trade services continued to dominate the sector's overall composition, generating 214.0 trillion UZS. The hospitality and food service industry also demonstrated strong performance, recording 173.2 trillion UZS, while the financial sector contributed 144.7 trillion UZS and the transportation network accounted for 141.7 trillion UZS, remaining key drivers of domestic commerce.
Information and communication technology services accounted for 71.4 trillion UZS, illustrating steady digital adoption across consumer and commercial fields. Various other non-classified services accumulated a combined total of 44.6 trillion UZS.
Among specialized and social services, education reached 30.7 trillion UZS, while real estate activities totaled 22.3 trillion UZS. Individual personal services generated 16.3 trillion UZS, closely followed by healthcare services at 16.0 trillion UZS. Additionally, architectural and engineering consultancy, alongside technical testing, contributed 12.7 trillion UZS; consumer electronics and computer maintenance stood at 10.7 trillion UZS; and leasing services contributed 10.3 trillion UZS.
