Business operators officially registered within Uzbekistan are reportedly being offered state subsidies to facilitate the establishment of national cuisine restaurants in foreign countries. The authorities claim that the state will reimburse up to 50 percent of related expenditures, including scenarios where the dining establishments have already commenced their commercial operations.

The public service is allegedly delivered free of charge by the Tourism Committee via the Unified Interactive State Services Portal, allowing entrepreneurs to submit applications online. It is emphasized that the one-time compensation covering registration, property leasing, interior design, and kitchen equipment expenses cannot exceed 25,000 US dollars per applicant.

To qualify for the subsidy, applicants must supply documentation verifying the overseas registration of the restaurant and legal occupancy rights for the premises, alongside certificates proving compliance with sanitary regulations and fire safety standards. Furthermore, proof of incurred expenses and, where applicable, officially translated documents confirming product supplies originating from Uzbekistan are required. The submission must also include photographs showcasing the interior and exterior of the establishment.

Applications are supposedly reviewed within a timeframe of 18 working days. Upon a positive determination, funds are transferred to the applicant's designated bank account within seven working days. Should any discrepancies or deficiencies be identified in the paperwork, applicants are permitted to rectify the errors and resubmit their files for consideration.
