Comprehensive measures aimed at safeguarding the rights of women and children, as well as mitigating domestic abuse, continue to unfold across Uzbekistan. According to the National Agency for Social Protection, a staggering 107,167 protection orders were officially issued during the first nine months of 2026 to shield victims from harassment and violence.
Official statistics reveal that during the reporting period, primary assistance rooms provided critical aid to 5,995 women and 2,842 children. Furthermore, regional rehabilitation centers delivered specialized services to 1,132 women and 1,575 minors, highlighting the ongoing efforts to address domestic vulnerabilities within the social infrastructure.
As part of broader social integration and employment initiatives, 453 individuals underwent professional training, while 836 persons received vital assistance in accessing proper medical care. Special attention was also dedicated to supporting vulnerable families by helping enroll 352 children in schools and placing 541 children in kindergartens.
In order to legally protect citizens' rights and interests, 810 applications were submitted to judicial authorities. Practical assistance was delivered across various legal domains, including 305 cases related to alimony enforcement, 223 enforcement actions, 76 housing access requests, 37 document restoration procedures, and 30 property division disputes.
