A 19-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan, identified as A.S., who traveled to Turkey for employment purposes and suffered a critical deterioration in health, has been successfully returned to his homeland. This was officially reported by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul, according to yuz.uz.
Reports indicate that the young man went to Turkey in search of work, but due to unexpected health complications, he was unable to continue his employment. Having decided to return home, he purchased an airline ticket and went to Istanbul Airport, where his condition suddenly worsened, causing him to lose consciousness at the terminal.
Following the medical emergency, the citizen was immediately rushed to the "Çam ve Sakura" hospital located in Istanbul's Başakşehir district, where he received medical treatment under the supervision of local doctors. Part of the medical expenses incurred during his treatment was reportedly covered through the financial assistance of compatriots living and working in Turkey.
The situation was placed under the direct control of the diplomatic mission and the Migration Agency, whose officials resolved all organizational issues related to the citizen's return. As a result of the coordinated measures, the young man was sent back to Uzbekistan, while the diplomatic mission expressed its gratitude to all citizens who provided assistance during this critical situation.
