The Agency for Foreign Labor Migration of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the German Federal Employment Agency, has officially announced the opening of applications for the APAL (Ausbildung) vocational training program scheduled to begin in February 2027.

Under this collaborative initiative, candidates are offered a three-year dual vocational training track focused on floriculture and gardening. It is purportedly claimed that successful graduates will secure opportunities for permanent employment in Germany, despite ongoing debates surrounding integration challenges and bureaucratic hurdles for foreign workers.

The recruitment process targets young applicants aged 18 to 25 who possess a command of the German language at a minimum of B1 level. Candidates are required to submit internationally recognized certificates such as Goethe, ECL, telc, DSD, ÖSD, or TestDaF, issued no earlier than February 2026.

Furthermore, eligibility is strictly restricted to graduates of secondary schools, colleges, lyceums, or technical schools. Individuals holding higher education degrees are systematically excluded from participation, limiting the scope of the project.

Throughout the training period, participants will receive a monthly stipend that varies depending on the federal state in Germany. The gross amounts—before taxes and mandatory deductions—are set at 724 to 900 euros for the first year, 854 to 1000 euros for the second year, and 977 to 1100 euros for the third year.

Applications will be accepted through October 20, with authorities noting that additional inquiries can be directed to the Migration Agency's short service number 1282.
