In accordance with a newly adopted government decree, comprehensive measures for conducting a business census have been officially approved in the country. The upcoming registration process is scheduled to take place from October 15 to November 30, 2026, with the official census reference date set for October 1, 2026, at 00:00.
The census framework is set to cover a diverse range of economic units, including legal entities, individual entrepreneurs, dehkan farms, self-employed individuals, and even entities operating without official registration. This broad scope aims to capture a more realistic reflection of ongoing economic activities within the state.
Regarding reporting procedures, legal entities are expected to submit their information independently via the hisobot.stat.uz platform. Meanwhile, self-employed individuals will need to complete their registration processes through the dedicated census.stat.uz portal.
Additionally, authorized census personnel will visit economic entities directly at their operational locations to conduct interviews. These surveys are scheduled to be carried out daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Authorities claim that all data provided by business representatives will be kept strictly confidential and utilized exclusively for statistical purposes. For inquiries and assistance, a dedicated call center with the short code 1851 is being established.
The final results of the census are projected to be published on the official website of the National Statistical Committee by September 1, 2027. Furthermore, within ten days following the completion of the census, up to 5 percent of the registered economic units will undergo selective control checks.
