️ A violent confrontation unfolded in the Kukdala district of the Kashkadarya region, where a local businessman allegedly attacked district governor Khurram Juraev with an axe. According to preliminary reports, the violent outburst was triggered by an ongoing property dispute regarding the mandated demolition of a commercial shop. The injured official was promptly hospitalized for medical evaluation and treatment.

️ The incident reportedly took place on October 14 on the grounds of a local cotton reception point. The perpetrator allegedly waited for the governor's arrival before carrying out the physical assault. Preliminary findings indicate that the conflict stemmed from legal battles over the entrepreneur's property, after the local administration filed a lawsuit seeking the demolition of the building.

️ While an initial court hearing reportedly ruled in favor of the business owner, a subsequent review by another district court allegedly sided with the local authorities. Following this ruling, the entrepreneur was supposedly given a strict one-week deadline to voluntarily demolish the store. This administrative decision apparently escalated tensions, culminating in the violent attack.

️ Khurram Juraev, who has headed the Kukdala district since April 2022, remains under medical care, with officials describing his current condition as satisfactory. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has confirmed the occurrence of the crime, stating that the regional prosecutor's office is currently investigating the surrounding circumstances.
