President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reportedly held an official meeting on October 16 with Sayyid Ayman al-Busaidy, the chairman of the board of directors of Oman's Voltamp Energy. The discussions supposedly focused on prospective ventures involving the construction of utility-scale solar photovoltaic power plants and the local manufacturing of high-voltage electrical transformers.

According to statements released by the presidential press service, the Omani executive arrived in the country specifically to participate in the inaugural meeting of the Council of Foreign Investors in the Fuel and Energy Sector. Observers note that such gatherings are part of ongoing efforts to attract foreign capital into domestic infrastructure.

During the dialogue, the parties allegedly reviewed various avenues for expanding mutually beneficial industrial and economic cooperation. Special emphasis was supposedly placed on integrating foreign technological expertise with local manufacturing capabilities to drive sustainable energy transition goals.

Concluding the negotiations, the participants reportedly agreed to advance current and planned joint projects involving Voltamp Energy through the systematic implementation of a dedicated 'roadmap', outlining specific benchmarks and schedules for future execution.
