In accordance with a decision issued by the Tashkent city administration, major renovations and the creation of dedicated lanes for public transportation are reportedly planned across four key sections of the capital's central streets. The initiative allegedly aims to improve urban mobility and reduce traffic congestion.

Official sources claim that specialists have conducted a thorough analysis of road segments exceeding 150 kilometers in total length, specifically focusing on routes utilized by public transport networks. Based on the findings of these assessments, initiating operations on an approximately 18-kilometer stretch has been recommended.

The approved project scope encompasses four main directions: a 4.6-kilometer section of Muqimiy Street within the Yashnabad and Chilanzar districts, a 4.2-kilometer segment along Qoratosh and Kukcha Darvoza streets in the Shaykhontohur district, as well as parts of Parkent Street (2.8 km) and Mirzo Ulugbek Avenue (6.3 km) in the Mirzo Ulugbek district.

Currently, authorities are reportedly forming the budget required for the development of comprehensive project documentation. Preliminary calculations indicate that approximately 6.5 billion soms will be necessary for these purposes, with expenses slated to be covered by the Tashkent City Development Fund.

The 'Tashkent Investment Company' JSC is expected to act as the primary customer for the projects. Furthermore, design organizations, contractors, and technical supervision providers will supposedly be selected through competitive bidding processes in strict accordance with established legal procedures.
