Another preventable traffic accident has occurred along the Asaka-Kuva highway passing through the Niyozbotir mahalla area in the Asaka district of the Andijan region, highlighting ongoing road safety concerns in the country. The incident took place late in the evening, underscoring the dangers of driving while fatigued.

According to preliminary reports, on October 17 at approximately 23:00, a young driver born in 2004, identified as A.O., was operating a Damas commercial vehicle when he allegedly succumbed to exhaustion and fell asleep at the wheel. The lapse in attention resulted in an immediate loss of vehicular control.

Consequently, the vehicle veered off the roadway, violently colliding with a roadside tree before ultimately overturning. Official statements confirm that miraculously no individuals sustained bodily injuries in the crash, though the automobile itself suffered substantial technical damage.

Local law enforcement authorities, specifically the Road Safety Group of the Asaka District Internal Affairs Department, are currently conducting an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
