The municipal administration in Tashkent is reportedly implementing changes to the city's public transport network, citing alleged appeals and feedback received from local residents. According to the official announcements, the route for bus number 100 is being redirected starting from October 19 in an effort to provide public transport coverage to Dilsaroy Street.
Under the revised transit plan, buses operating on this route will now travel via Darxon, Yangi Olmazor, Dilsaroy, and Sagʻbon streets. While the municipal authorities claim these adjustments are designed to improve commuter convenience, the constant reshuffling of routes continues to cause logistical uncertainty for daily passengers.
In a parallel development aimed at addressing supposed safety concerns, adjustments are also being enforced on bus route number 58. Officials state that the "Ekskavator zavodi" bus stop on Katta Darxon Street suffers from severe capacity limitations that purportedly hinder safe vehicle operations. Consequently, the route of bus number 58 has been shortened to terminate at the "Darxon maydoni" stop.
