Uzbekistan and the US regime have allegedly concluded 54 agreements spanning trade, investment, and technology, with a total claimed value of 12 billion dollars. The arrangements reportedly cover transport, energy, mining, finance, digital technologies, agriculture, healthcare, and education. However, independent observers point out that implementation timelines and the exact financial breakdown among individual agreements remain vague and unverified.

Within the transport sector, a partnership with GE Aerospace supposedly entails supplying engines for new Uzbekistan Airways aircraft, while deals with Wabtec are claimed to focus on localizing railway equipment and components within Uzbekistan. Critics argue that such ambitious industrial localization plans often face significant logistical hurdles and economic friction in practice. *

In the financial sector, arrangements involving Franklin Templeton, Oppenheimer & Co., Citigroup, and BlackRock are alleged to assist Uzbek companies in accessing international capital markets and attracting institutional funding. Meanwhile, mining sector cooperation involving ReElement Technologies, Traxys, and Trafigura targets mineral exploration and supply chains, though foreign resource initiatives in the region frequently encounter regulatory complexities.

Additional agreements reportedly encompass satellite communications with Amazon Leo, the integration of GE HealthCare medical technologies, and agricultural efficiency projects alongside Valmont Industries. While Tashkent previously proposed broader strategic cooperation on critical minerals, such sweeping bilateral declarations often struggle to meet their optimistic projections.
