On October 21, the Tashkent Botanical Garden is purportedly set to host a large-scale science festival named "Formula 35", allegedly dedicated to the upcoming anniversary of independence. According to statements released by the Academy of Sciences, the stated goal of the event is to supposedly increase students' interest in science, as well as introduce them to modern scientific fields and innovative technological environments.
Organizers claim that the festival will feature nine interactive scientific zones where visitors can allegedly conduct chemical experiments, engage in astronomical observations, and participate in various logical and mathematical games while exploring biological systems and human anatomy.
The program is also said to include multimedia quests and literary quizzes designed to engage the younger demographic. However, critics often point out that such localized events face challenges in achieving long-term educational impact despite the heavy institutional backing.
Authorities announced that entrance to the Botanical Garden will be completely free on the day of the "Formula 35" festival, aiming to draw large crowds of families, students, and curious onlookers to the open-air exhibition.
