Authorities in the Kashkadarya region plan to train 500 young people in the German language by the end of the year, followed by paid internships in Germany. This initiative was highlighted during President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's working visit to the region.
On October 21, the president inspected the Kashkadarya Advanced Vocational Training Technical School and the newly established 'Town of Professions.' The modern 5.2-hectare complex, valued at 42 billion soms, comprises 14 facilities, including academic buildings, laboratories, workshops, a dormitory, and sports grounds.
Currently, 417 students are enrolled across 10 different educational tracks at the institution. The curriculum incorporates advanced methodologies from Germany, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, China, and South Korea. Furthermore, the technical school serves as a methodological base for vocational students throughout the broader region.
Interacting with a group of students preparing for international internships, the leadership emphasized the critical importance of mastering professional skills and languages. Officials noted that the 'Town of Professions' is specifically designed to identify school students' interests early and align vocational training with the demands of emerging regional enterprises.
