Official figures regarding the cost of military service within the mobilization call-up reserve in Uzbekistan have been released. Starting September 2026, the price for participating in the one-month military assembly is set at 9,520,000 Uzbek soms, with authorities allowing citizens to pay the amount in installments ranging from 3 to 12 months.

According to calculations, the service fee is equivalent to seven times the minimum wage baseline, which stands at 1,360,000 soms as of September 1, 2026. If the payment is distributed over a 12-month period, the monthly installment amounts to approximately 793,333 soms. The service is organized on a territorial basis, requiring citizens to participate in a single one-month training session. *

Furthermore, specific exemptions have been established for vulnerable populations. It is reported that if a citizen's family is registered in the Social Register, family members aged 18 to 27 are eligible to complete this military service free of charge.

To utilize this exemption, individuals must obtain a free certificate via the my.gov.uz portal confirming their family's inclusion in the Social Register. Subsequently, applicants must contact their local neighborhood youth leader, who is required to issue a formal recommendation within three working days.
