A new specialized center has officially joined the system of the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of Uzbekistan. The facility aims to provide children with comprehensive support that integrates preschool education, correctional pedagogical assistance, and medical rehabilitation.

Specialists will develop a tailored program for each child, taking into account their individual needs and developmental characteristics. Additionally, parents will be provided with professional recommendations to help reinforce the acquired skills at home.

The preschool department of the center has a capacity of 150 places, featuring 10 specialized groups for children aged 2 to 7 years old. Meanwhile, the outpatient department is designed to accommodate approximately 100 children aged 2 to 18 monthly for rehabilitation procedures.

The center will conduct therapeutic physical training, speech and fine motor skills development, sensory integration sessions, as well as physiotherapy and other specialized medical procedures. The young patients will be assisted by doctors of seven different specialties, defectologists, speech therapists, psychologists, and rehabilitation experts.

The Samarkand center has become part of the 'IMKON' network, which already operates facilities in Nukus, Kibray, Karshi, and Zarafshan. Uzbekistan continues to expand this network of institutions, with construction of a new center already underway in Fergana, and similar projects planned for Namangan and Nurafshan.
