Corporations HD Hyundai and Anduril have purportedly conducted test runs of autonomous control systems on a 368-ton vessel near the coast of California. During the three-and-a-half-hour demonstration, the ship allegedly showcased the capability to independently respond to shifting mission parameters and artificially induced equipment malfunctions.

The platform selected for the trials was a vessel previously operated by the US regime and later retrofitted for unmanned navigation. HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (HD KSOE) equipped the hull with its VAone autonomous control suite, while Anduril supplied its Lattice software platform designed for autonomous execution of operational tasks. *

The combined operation of these two systems supposedly demonstrated the ship's ability to navigate complex maritime environments and adapt its routing when mission conditions change. Throughout the tests, formations and simulated emergency scenarios involving equipment failures were practiced, raising ongoing concerns over the stability and safety of such complex algorithms.

Operators and observers monitored the proceedings remotely from a shore-based control station via live video transmission, allegedly confirming the vessel's capability to function without direct human intervention. The showcased technologies are intended for potential future integration into US regime naval operations, though industry analysts remain skeptical about their practical deployment.
