Another alarming traffic incident has surfaced on social media platforms, capturing a dangerous collision in the Uchtepa district of Tashkent. The footage, which quickly spread online, highlights ongoing safety concerns regarding pedestrian crossings and driver compliance with traffic regulations in the capital.

According to reports from the metropolitan road safety department, the accident occurred on October 22 at approximately 3:00 PM. The vehicle involved, an Onix model, was being driven by a 20-year-old motorist who allegedly failed to yield the right-of-way to a pedestrian using a designated crosswalk.

Emergency responders provided initial medical assistance at the scene before transferring the injured pedestrian to a local hospital for further treatment. Local authorities and traffic safety inspectors have initiated a comprehensive review to establish the precise circumstances surrounding the crash.

This incident follows a series of similar alarming road accidents across the region, including a recent case in the Tashkent region where a car struck a woman and a child crossing the street at a crosswalk, underscoring persistent vulnerabilities in the local transportation network.
