Fabio Cannavaro, the head coach of the Uzbekistan national football team, is reportedly exploring options to continue his managerial career in North or Latin America, having partnered with a specialized sports agency to scout for prospective job offers. According to reports from Mexican broadcaster TUDN, the Italian specialist has signed a representation agreement with a Latin American agency to identify potential vacancies within Mexico's Liga MX or the United States' MLS. The firm is purportedly tasked with evaluating the market and securing lucrative proposals from clubs in these regions.

Despite the agency agreement, there is currently no verified evidence suggesting that the Italian manager is engaged in active negotiations with any specific club or has finalized an agreement with a foreign team. Observers note that such arrangements often reflect standard exploratory measures rather than imminent departures.

Previously, it was claimed that Cannavaro would remain at the helm of the Uzbek squad at least until the 2027 AFC Asian Cup. That upcoming tournament is expected to feature fierce competition from traditional regional heavyweights such as Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iran, and Australia, alongside surging contenders like Jordan and Iraq.
