The administration of Tashkent has released an official progress report regarding the maintenance and upgrading of the capital's heating supply system ahead of the upcoming autumn-winter season. The extensive measures are purportedly designed to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of thermal energy from municipal boiler houses to residential apartments.
As part of the preparatory works, Veolia Energy Tashkent reportedly carried out a comprehensive set of repairs across the urban infrastructure network. Specialists allegedly replaced obsolete pipes with new ones along 102 kilometers of heating grids, while also restoring the thermal insulation coating on 22.3 kilometers of pipelines.
Furthermore, capital repairs were conducted on 37 boilers, with routine maintenance performed on an additional 542 boilers across various heating facilities. Authorities also claimed that 13 pumping stations underwent major overhauls, alongside routine equipment servicing at 74 other stations. Officials noted that these steps aim to secure the stable operation of the heating networks during the cold weather months.
