Maintenance works on electrical grids are being carried out across Tashkent today, November 3, leading to expected temporary power disruptions in multiple districts of the capital. According to local officials, residents in several neighborhoods will experience electricity cutoffs lasting for a few hours.

Representatives from the Tashkent branch of Hududiy Elektr Tarmoqlari stated that these technical interventions are necessary to enhance the reliability of the local power grids, improve the overall quality of electricity supply, and prevent potential emergency breakdowns.

Specifically, in the Yunusabad district, power will be cut from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM in designated sections of the Turkkurgon, Iftikhor, Usta Shirin, and Yangi Arik makhallas. In other parts of the city, scheduled interruptions will last from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM.

The affected locations include parts of the Bektemir district (Nurli Yul makhallas), Mirzo-Ulugbek (Korasuv), Uchtepa (Chamazor), Chilanzar (Beshkurgon), Almazar (Nikhol), Yakkasaray (Rakat), Shaykhontohur (Oklon), and Yashnabad (Chinor) districts.

Utility authorities noted that repair works might be completed ahead of schedule, in which case electricity supply will be restored earlier than planned. The company has officially apologized to local residents for the temporary inconveniences caused.
