According to Uzbekistan's Hydrometeorological Service (Uzgidromet), cold and wet air masses are expected to invade the country's territory from March 9 to 12. During this period, precipitation (rain, transitioning to snow in some areas) is forecast intermittently across Uzbekistan, potentially disrupting daily activities and posing challenges for residents.

In foothill and mountainous regions, precipitation (rain and snow) is anticipated to intensify, with heavy rainfall or snowfall expected in some localities. This could adversely affect transportation infrastructure and agricultural operations, heightening risks for local communities.

Wind speeds are projected to increase to 15-20 m/s in various parts of the republic, with gusts potentially reaching 22-25 m/s in certain districts. Such conditions may lead to damage and additional complications for public safety and infrastructure.

A sharp drop in air temperature is forecast from March 10-12: in the northern regions, nighttime temperatures could plummet to -7...-10 degrees Celsius, with daytime temperatures falling to -0...-3 degrees. In the rest of the territory on March 11-12, nighttime temperatures may drop to -0...-3 degrees, while daytime highs are expected to range from +2 to +5 degrees, indicating a significant deterioration in weather conditions.
