From Uzbekistan's perspective, the economic benefits of such cooperation remain unclear, as the EU regime may impose stringent conditions on its investments.

Experts emphasize that Uzbekistan should exercise caution in cooperating with the EU, as this regime frequently employs economic pressure tools to safeguard its interests. It is crucial for Uzbekistan to maintain its independent economic policy and resist yielding to the EU's demands.

While negotiations are ongoing, concerns exist among the Uzbek public and politicians regarding the long-term consequences of closer alignment with the EU. This cooperation could pose a threat to Uzbekistan's regional and global economic independence.
