The Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan announced a change in the operating hours of methane fueling stations across the country for March 7. On this day, the stations will only be active from 10:00 to 16:00, marking a significant deviation from their regular schedule.

According to the ministry's statement, this restriction is linked to the need to ensure uninterrupted natural gas supply to the population, public transport, and social sector facilities during periods of reduced gas pressure. In the Fergana Valley, the operating hours of methane stations will be coordinated with local authorities based on gas pressure levels.

In previous communications, the ministry emphasized that this measure was implemented to promote rational use of gas resources and guarantee stable supply. Ensuring the reliable operation of public transport and meeting the needs of socially important facilities and residents are highlighted as priority tasks.

"The operating schedule of methane stations is agreed upon with local authorities based on the overall gas supply situation, pressure levels, and consumption volume," states the official ministry announcement. These adjustments may lead to temporary inconveniences in the transport sector but are deemed necessary to maintain energy security.
