Law enforcement agencies in the Andijan region of Uzbekistan have dismantled a major channel involved in the illegal trade of potent medicinal drugs, including "Tropicamide" and "Regapen". As a result of operational measures, approximately 6,500 units of these drugs, which were intended for sale on the black market, were removed from circulation. These actions were carried out as part of the first phase of the large-scale operational and preventive campaign "Safe and Healthy Country".

During an attempt to transfer the medications to other individuals, three citizens were detained: a 29-year-old woman, along with two men aged 29 and 37. During an inspection conducted in the presence of witnesses, 3,428 units of "Regapen" and 1,100 units of "Tropicamide" were found and seized from the 29-year-old woman. From her 29-year-old accomplice, 50 units of "Tropicamide" and a vial containing an unknown liquid were confiscated, while five capsules of an unidentified substance were discovered in his Nexia car.

Another member of the group, a 37-year-old man, was found in possession of a vial with liquid, and eight capsules of "Regapen" were located in his Damas vehicle. The operational activities continued at the residence of the detained woman, where law enforcement officers uncovered an additional 1,652 units of "Regapen" and 300 units of "Tropicamide".

A criminal case has been initiated under Part 5 of Article 251-1, "Illegal Trafficking of Potent or Poisonous Substances," of the Criminal Code. Investigative actions are ongoing. Law enforcement authorities are urging the public to report any suspicious activities through the Telegram channel "Stop narkobot" or via official hotline numbers.
