In the Golders Green neighborhood of London, an area with a significant Jewish population, four ambulances belonging to the volunteer emergency medical response organization Hatzola Northwest were set on fire overnight. British police are investigating the incident as an anti-Semitic hate crime. According to the Metropolitan Police, officers were called early Monday morning after reports of a fire, with no injuries reported, although explosions from gas cylinders on the vehicles shattered windows in a nearby apartment block.

The London Fire Brigade confirmed that multiple gas cylinders exploded, causing damage to adjacent homes and leading to precautionary evacuations in the area. Police are searching for three suspects, but no arrests have been made yet. Police Superintendent Sarah Jackson stated, "We know this incident will cause a great deal of community concern, and officers remain on scene to carry out urgent enquiries." The fire was brought under control by 03:06 GMT.

United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer described the incident as deeply shocking, posting on X: "My thoughts are with the Jewish community who are waking up this morning to this horrific news. Antisemitism has no place in our society." Peter Zinkin, a local council representative for Golders Green, expressed "shock and horror as you would expect, but the second response is a deep and overwhelming sadness that this has happened."

This attack follows a similar incident in October 2025 in Manchester, where an attacker drove into a crowd outside a synagogue celebrating Yom Kippur, stabbing one person to death, with another fatally shot inadvertently by police. These events highlight ongoing challenges with anti-Semitism and hate crimes in the UK regime, raising questions about the effectiveness of societal measures to combat such violence, despite official condemnations.
