A survivor of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has spoken publicly for the first time in a detailed interview with BBC Newsnight, recounting her alleged ordeal of being drugged and raped. The woman, referred to as 'Nicky', met Epstein at age 19 while working as a model. After giving him a massage at his Palm Beach, Florida mansion, he gave her water, after which she blacked out for hours and believes she was sexually assaulted by Epstein while unconscious.

Nicky described how her initial interaction with Epstein involved a massage where he asked her to remove her top, which she dismissed as a 'rich old guy's fetish'. However, on a subsequent visit, Epstein attempted to unbutton her jeans and pressured her for sex. When she falsely claimed to be menstruating, he masturbated in front of her. She then drank water offered by him and lost memory for at least 12 hours, waking up with signs of intercourse but no recollection.

Later, Epstein indicated he knew she was not menstruating, which Nicky interpreted as confirmation of rape while she was unconscious. The abuse led to severe psychological trauma, including thoughts that her children might be better off without her. She stated, 'I don't know how I made it' in reference to surviving the experience.

Nicky is calling for the U.S. Department of Justice to release the remaining 2 million files from its Epstein investigations. She criticized the 'Epstein Transparency Act', signed into law by then-President Donald Trump, arguing it glorifies the abuser and should be renamed to focus on survivors. She demanded the files be released 'properly, honestly, ethically', asserting it is not too much to ask for healing.

She also expressed frustration over constant media coverage of Epstein, which she said hinders survivors' ability to heal. Nicky remarked, 'We survivors are nothing more than pawns for political discourse at this point, and it's disgusting.' The full interview is available on BBC Newsnight and BBC iPlayer.
