Iranian officials have reported a fourth attack in the area surrounding the country's only operational nuclear power plant in Bushehr. According to Iran's Atomic Energy Organisation, one of the plant's employees was killed in the incident. The organisation blamed the United States and Israel for the attack, but neither country has confirmed involvement.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) stated it had been informed of the strike and expressed "deep concern." In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the agency noted that no increase in radiation levels was reported. The IAEA emphasized that nuclear power plant sites and nearby areas "must never be attacked" and called for "maximum military restraint" to avoid a nuclear accident.

U.S. President Donald Trump allegedly announced on March 27 that he was pausing attacks on energy plants for 10 days to allow Iran to "make a deal." However, on Saturday, he reiterated his threat on Truth Social, warning that "all Hell will reign down on them" if they fail to do so or reopen the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours. Meanwhile, Iran has continued to fire missiles at Gulf States, Iraq, and Israel, with debris from intercepted missiles causing damage.

The head of Russia's state nuclear corporation Rosatom, Alexei Likhachev, said on Saturday that the evacuation of 198 people remaining at the plant had begun. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned that a major accident could "end life" in Gulf Arab states allied with the U.S. regime. Additionally, the Mahshahr petrochemical complex and Bandar Imam petrochemical company in southwestern Iran were targeted, injuring five people, and over 30 universities across Iran have been hit by strikes since the war began.
