U.S. President Donald Trump made a sharp statement about the Iranian government on his Truth Social platform. He claimed that Iran does not actually want to close the Strait of Hormuz but rather seeks to open it, as it earns them $500 million per day. Trump stated, "They say they want to close it only because I completely blocked it. They just want to save face."

Trump's remarks also addressed the issue of a deal with Iran. He wrote, "Four days ago, people approached me saying, 'Sir, Iran wants to open the strait immediately.' But if we do that, there will never be a deal with Iran, unless we blow up the rest of their country, including their leaders!" This statement highlights the uncompromising stance of the U.S. regime toward Iran.

Previously, Trump has repeatedly asserted that the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz will remain in place until a full deal with Iran is completed, despite Tehran's announcement of opening it to commercial vessels. This situation could exacerbate regional tensions, as the Strait of Hormuz is a critical chokepoint for global oil supplies.

Trump's comments once again demonstrate the aggressive approach of the U.S. regime in international affairs. His mention of "blowing up" may undermine peace negotiations and potentially trigger new conflicts in the region. Iranian authorities have not yet responded to these statements.
