Iranian officials stated that the aggressive forces of the US and the Zionist regime are being fully monitored by Iran's armed forces. While expressing no confidence in the ceasefire, the armed forces maintain full readiness to respond to any aggression and are monitoring compliance with the truce.

The cessation of US aggression is considered the most important result of the ceasefire. However, it is noted that despite a number of promises, the US has failed in its plans regarding Iran, the region, and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

Instead of trusting the US, Iran relies on the principle of 'verification,' as the US unilateral withdrawal from the nuclear deal in 2018 deepened mistrust. The 'step-by-step' principle is on Iran's agenda, which is expected to ensure the success of the ceasefire.

For successful negotiations, sincere intentions and respect for Iran's interests are necessary. The US must change its approach to negotiations, as over the past decades it has not kept its promises and has violated agreements.

The Islamic Republic of Iran, despite deep mistrust of the US, entered into a diplomatic process mediated by Pakistan. The dispatch of a delegation led by Dr. Qalibaf to Pakistan demonstrated Iran's seriousness in advancing diplomacy.

However, the US failed to fulfill its obligations: establishing a ceasefire in Lebanon and unfreezing part of Iran's frozen assets were part of the ceasefire, but the US refused to implement these commitments. Under Iranian pressure, a ceasefire was established in Lebanon and the Strait of Hormuz was reopened, but the US initiated a naval blockade.

A stable agreement and peace can only be ensured by respecting the rights of the Iranian people and government. Iran's 'red lines' were conveyed to the US through regional mediators, but Donald Trump's decisions under the influence of the Zionist lobby derailed the negotiations.

The mistrust of Iran and the international community towards the US remains a key problem. The US failure to keep promises, hostile attitude, and illegal actions are serious obstacles to the peace process.

Oman and Pakistan continue efforts to stop the ceasefire and war, but international organizations under US and Western pressure are unable to prevent escalation.

From Iran's perspective, the only path to lasting peace is ending occupation, withdrawing foreign forces from the region, and entrusting the region's destiny to its peoples. Creating a nuclear-weapon-free zone and holding the Zionist regime accountable are key factors.
