Israeli forces carried out a deadly drone attack on the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza on Saturday, killing one person and injuring two others, according to Palestinian media reports. The victim was identified as Muawiya al-Aydi, a local municipality worker.

In a separate incident, an Israeli attack in Gaza City's Tuffah neighborhood wounded one person. Despite a ceasefire technically in effect since October, Israel's military has continued to regularly attack Gaza, with over half of the enclave under Israeli military control in defiance of the truce terms.

Gaza's Health Ministry reported that at least two Palestinians have been killed and 11 injured in Israeli attacks over the past 48 hours. Since the ceasefire was declared, 983 people have been killed and 3,122 injured, according to the ministry.

Hamas has accused Israel of repeatedly violating the agreement through continued attacks and by shifting the so-called 'Yellow Line' that demarcates Israeli-controlled areas in Gaza. Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem stated on Friday that 'Israeli actions reflect its unwillingness to implement the ceasefire agreement and aim to blow up the negotiation track.'

Israeli troops also carried out violent raids in the occupied West Bank on Saturday, part of near-daily operations since the Hamas-led attacks on October 7, 2023. During raids near Bethlehem, stun grenades and tear gas caused numerous injuries. A disabled Palestinian man was also shot and injured near Hebron, with conflicting reports on whether Israeli forces or a settler was responsible.
