️ Real Madrid have officially confirmed the arrival of defender Ibrahima Konate from Liverpool on a four-year contract, as the Frenchman joined the Spanish giants as a free agent following the expiration of his deal at Anfield.
️ The 27-year-old centre-back has signed a contract until June 30, 2030. Konate moved to Liverpool from RB Leipzig in 2021, making 183 appearances and winning the Premier League in 2025 and the FA Cup in 2022.
️ Currently representing France at the World Cup, Konate joins a Real Madrid side already bolstered this summer by the arrival of coach Jose Mourinho, as well as the signings of Spain left-back Marc Cucurella and Portugal midfielder Bernardo Silva.
️ Los Blancos have also been linked with Inter Milan wing-back Denzel Dumfries as they overhaul their squad after two consecutive seasons without a major trophy. Real Madrid renewed centre-back Antonio Rudiger's contract until 2027, while Dani Carvajal and David Alaba left the club at the end of their contracts.
