Professor Jumabek Alikhanov of Gachon University in South Korea, an expert in artificial intelligence, shared insights on the evolution of AI and its impact on the job market in an interview with Kun.uz.
According to the professor, current AI is at the first stage – Narrow AI, where chatbots specialize in specific tasks. The second stage is AGI (Artificial General Intelligence), capable of performing all human-like functions. The third stage is Super AI, surpassing humans in every intellectual function.
He emphasized the importance of prompt engineering for effective AI use. Users should specify the role AI should play (expert, mentor, or friend) and provide context to improve response quality.
Key risks include a revolution in professions: AI replaces all repetitive work, including surgery. Easy and expensive jobs are most vulnerable. However, mechanical professions like carpentry or fieldwork remain safe. The real risk is for people who are not masters of their craft.
AI applications span education (expanding access to quality teachers), finance (automating payments), and medicine (diagnosis and prescription). However, human responsibility remains paramount.
The professor reassures that AI is artificial and cannot replicate human heart and soul. A spiritually developed person can control AI like a rider controls a horse. Without values, AI becomes a threat.
