President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has sent a message of condolence to Chinese President Xi Jinping over the loss of life and destruction caused by recent floods and a fire in China.

The head of state expressed his support following numerous casualties in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region due to flooding, as well as a major fire in Fujian Province. In his address, Mirziyoyev conveyed words of sympathy to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to all those affected.

Earlier reports indicated that the death toll from massive floods in southern China had risen to 39, with nine more residents listed as missing.
