The situation in the Middle East has escalated into a large-scale military confrontation. Following a joint operation by Israel and the U.S. against targets in Iran, Tehran launched a retaliatory attack affecting not only Israel but also neighboring Arab states.

Iranian media reported strikes on key facilities in Tehran, Isfahan, Qom, Kermanshah, Karaj, and Tabriz. After the aerial assault, Iran announced retaliatory measures against Israel and U.S. bases in the Middle East.

Air raid sirens are sounding across Israel, with residents urged to stay in shelters. The Israel Defense Forces mobilized 70,000 reservists.

The escalation spread to Gulf states. In Abu Dhabi, falling debris caused material damage and one fatality. In Bahrain and Qatar, air defense systems intercepted Iranian missiles.

Media reports explosions and downed missiles in Dubai. Witnesses say thousands are leaving the city after several missiles were intercepted overhead.

U.S. media reported the operation against Iran involved space forces, air force, navy, marine corps, and army units. Reuters states the strike date was finalized weeks ago, with preparations ongoing for months.

Iran's General Staff warned that military bases of any country aiding Israel will become targets.

U.S. President Donald Trump officially confirmed the start of a large-scale military operation against Iran, conducted jointly with Israel. He stated the strikes aim to eliminate an "immediate threat" and prevent Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

Key targets in Tehran and other regions, including the Defense Ministry, Intelligence Ministry, Ali Khamenei's residence, and the Atomic Energy Organization, were hit by air and sea strikes. Israeli sources indicate the operation will last four days.

Iranian and Israeli airspace was fully closed. Several international flights to and from Uzbekistan were unable to proceed and returned to departure airports.
