An investigation in Jarkurgan District, Surkhandarya Region, has confirmed an illegal order to collect funds from teachers at Secondary School No. 33. It was established that the directive was issued by Anvar Rajabov, the deputy district hokim for youth policy and social development.

The probe was initiated after school director Oysara Uzokova posted a message in an official Telegram group for staff, stating the need to transfer 1 million soums to the hokimiyat per the deputy hokim's order.

Following the public disclosure, the Surkhandarya Regional Department of Preschool and School Education denied issuing any such instructions. However, the Jarkurgan District hokimiyat confirmed after an internal review that the official did instruct teachers to collect money, which violates legal norms.

As a result, Rajabov received an official warning as a disciplinary measure. Authorities emphasized that any charitable or sponsorship activities must be conducted voluntarily and in compliance with the law, pledging to strengthen internal controls.
