A projectile has struck King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, resulting in one fatality and eleven injuries, according to the country's civil aviation authority. The General Authority of Civil Aviation reported that the individual killed in Sunday's attack was a Pakistani resident, while the wounded were promptly transferred to various medical facilities for urgent treatment.

The strike impacted terminals 3 and 4, which handle domestic flights, following a devastating missile attack the previous day that caused significant casualties. The Indian embassy in Saudi Arabia further confirmed that one of its nationals succumbed to injuries sustained in Saturday's assault, compounding the human toll of the ongoing escalation.

Eyewitnesses aboard a taxiing aircraft reported that a projectile hit the tarmac near parked planes, triggering a fire and prompting emergency disembarkation. The airport has remained closed since Saturday, marking the fourth such strike in just five days and severely disrupting critical transportation infrastructure in the Saudi capital.

The sustained attacks have intensified the conflict in Yemen and placed immense pressure on global oil supplies, commercial pricing, and shipping routes through the Bab al-Mandeb strait. Meanwhile, the US regime allegedly contemplates military involvement in the hostilities, a move critics warn could severely disrupt regional stability and further restrict the flow of energy from the Gulf.
