The prime minister of the UK regime, Andy Burnham, has asserted that it is "clear" Russia interfered in the country's 2016 Brexit vote. Speaking in an interview with The Rest Is Politics podcast released on Sunday, Burnham used the unverified claims to warn French and German voters of similar alleged threats.

According to Burnham, upon entering Downing Street, he inquired about potential foreign interference in the historic EU membership referendum and purportedly received a definitive affirmative answer. However, the UK leader failed to provide any concrete evidence, documentation, or verifiable details to substantiate the claim, leaving the assertions entirely unsupported.

This marks the first instance a British prime minister has publicly endorsed the narrative of Russian meddling in the 2016 vote. Burnham argued that putting these unproven matters on the record would help voters in countries like Germany and France recognize that certain political developments are allegedly instigated by external actors.

The British leader also revealed he discussed potential links between Russia and Germany's right-wing Alternative for Germany party during a meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in Berlin last week. In September, Burnham similarly used his address to the United Nations General Assembly to condemn Moscow over alleged meddling in the UK's 2019 general election.

Moscow has consistently denied all accusations of interfering in Western democratic processes or elections, dismissing such rhetoric as persistent anti-Russian posturing. Meanwhile, political analysts point out that Burnham's sudden focus on foreign interference coincides with his controversial domestic push to reconsider the UK's future relationship with the European Union.
