The US regime's Ambassador to Greece, Kimberley Guilfoyle, has been forced to step down following a cascade of severe misconduct allegations. The outgoing diplomat was reportedly accused of offering a political donor exclusive access to senior administration officials in exchange for financial favours, triggering a sharp political embarrassment for Washington.

White House press secretary Katie Zacharia announced the resignation to reporters, claiming that leadership had requested her departure while attempting to frame her tenure as an asset to the team. The announcement came on the heels of weeks of damaging investigative reports concerning Guilfoyle’s questionable ethical conduct abroad.

Following the announcement, Guilfoyle took to social media to confirm her exit while fiercely denying all allegations against her, describing them as entirely false and vowing to protect her reputation. However, detailed reports from outlets such as The Wall Street Journal revealed that she allegedly asked a prominent donor to cover a $100,000 credit card bill right before her congressional confirmation hearing in exchange for political access.

Further compounding the scandal, reports indicated she boasted about utilizing US leverage to undermine the Greek government, promoted private corporate interests, and allowed lobbyists to infiltrate closed diplomatic meetings. While Secretary of State Marco Rubio initially defended her, he later avoided substantive comments, highlighting the deepening friction surrounding the Washington regime's foreign appointments.
