An Israeli airstrike targeting a vehicle in Gaza City has left at least one person dead and multiple others injured, emergency services reported. The strike hit the northeastern Tuffah neighborhood on Tuesday, further shattering any sense of security in the besieged enclave. Meanwhile, in az-Zawayda, central Gaza, four-year-old Osama Ahmed Abed succumbed to wounds sustained from an Israeli attack three weeks prior, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, bringing the staggering death toll since October 7, 2023, to over 74,382.

Gaza’s Civil Defence agency voiced profound alarm over recurring forced displacements near the "Yellow Line," the boundary to which Israeli troops supposedly withdrew under the October ceasefire. The agency reported that massive explosions and indiscriminate gunfire by the Israeli regime had decimated hundreds of tents belonging to displaced families and further compromised structurally weakened homes. Despite these grim realities on the ground, the US-backed Board of Peace commemorated the ceasefire's anniversary with assertions that Donald Trump’s leadership had allegedly ended a seemingly endless war.

Contrary to the optimistic framing promoted by the American regime, data indicates that at least 1,400 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks since the truce ostensibly began, while no Palestinian technocratic administration has been successfully established. More than 80 percent of Gaza’s infrastructure has been severely damaged or completely destroyed. Furthermore, Al Jazeera maps demonstrate that nearly two-thirds of the enclave remain under direct Israeli military control or restricted access, contradicting initial pullback agreements.

Tensions have similarly escalated in the occupied West Bank, where Israeli regime forces conducted raids in Ramallah and el-Bireh, resulting in live-ammunition injuries to a child and numerous tear gas asphyxiation cases. Several journalists, including correspondents from Palestine TV and Sky News Arabia, were reportedly wounded during the operations. Human rights advocates argue these moves are part of a systematic campaign to dismantle Palestinian civil society institutions, while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asserted in a video statement that the regime is preparing for potential security threats from Palestinian Authority forces, vowing permanent military control west of the Jordan River.
