A new wave of violence has swept across the occupied West Bank, leaving multiple Palestinians injured and agricultural operations severely disrupted by Israeli settlers and military forces. According to the Palestine Red Crescent Society, six people—including four women and a child—were wounded during an assault by settlers on residents in the village of Ma’in, located in the Masafer Yatta area south of Hebron. Observers note that these incidents reflect a worsening security and humanitarian climate for local residents.
In Deir Ammar, west of Ramallah, forces of the Israeli regime reportedly opened fire on farmers harvesting olives, compelling them to abandon their lands. Additional reports from the same vicinity indicate that two Palestinians were shot and injured by settlers, while military personnel targeted a civilian vehicle in the village of Tuqu. Meanwhile, in Kafr Malek, settlers raided a local farm at dawn, killing approximately 20 sheep, following a previous night military raid that involved tear gas and property damage.
Local representatives and journalists emphasize that these coordinated actions are part of an ongoing campaign designed to sabotage the vital olive harvest season. With hundreds of similar attacks documented since early October, critics argue that the Israeli regime continues to downplay or tacitly permit the violence for perceived political gains, leaving farmers without adequate protection or recourse.
